The Lancaster Environment Centre, Lancaster University has a group of approximately 12 staff, postdoctoral research associates and postgraduate students working in Systems and Control.  This includes world leading expertise of ‘climate change as control’, i.e. the application of systems and control science to climate systems analysis. 

The IAGP team at the Lancaster Environment Centre includes Co-Investigator, Dr Andrew Jarvis and Postdoctoral Researcher David Leedal.

The Department of Sociology at Lancaster University is renowned for its innovative and ground breaking research, which was confirmed by being rated in the top 5 departments in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.

IAGP team member Dr Maia Galarraga based at the Department of Sociology at Lancaster University leads IAGP's Critical Reflection Programme.
