The School of Psychology at Cardiff University is one of the largest in the UK with the very highest ratings in the 2001 and 2008 Research Assessment Exercise. The Understanding Risk Research Group within the School is an internationally-recognised centre of excellence for work on public attitudes and acceptability of new technologies and environmental risks, and on public engagement with science.
